As the headline anticipates .. we’ve been lucky twice: First, the weather turned from a forecast of clouds and even snowfall into bright sunshine. Second, according to a local we met, there was no snow there at all just a week ago. Peak was the Chörbsch Horn (2650 m) near Davos which was a climb of 1150 m. Nice view all around from there. The downhill I found to be more ski specific. Though the terrain had some nice shapes, it could have been steeper and there’s a quite flat ridge you’ll have to follow for a section (at least on that way we went down, surely there’s different ways to get down). Except for the ridges and the peak itself, the snow has been quite ok but we are still far from last years (or was it that year before?) awesome powder. Let’s see what’s next. I just received this very nice designed book.
